About this module
Digital tools can both help and harm the environment. In this module you explore how apps, platforms and online services can support greener lifestyles, circular economy models and sustainable businesses. You also reflect on the energy use and risks of digitalisation – and then prototype your own small digital eco-solution and learn how to communicate it to others.
What you will learn
By the end of this module you will be able to:
- Identify examples of digital eco-innovations and describe what makes them “green”.
- Reflect critically on the environmental pros and cons of digitalisation.
- Use simple digital tools to design, structure and communicate your own eco-idea.
